Ergo Lamp
Inspired by balance, simplicity and the relationship between light and space, ERGO is a sculptural table lamp crafted from recycled aluminium. Designed to sit close to a wall, its circular form projects a soft indirect glow onto the surface behind it, transforming the wall itself into part of the light.
"I have always believed that what we do defines who we are. Our existence is not only in our thoughts, but in what we create with our hands—in the marks we leave on the world. This piece, ERGO, is a manifestation of that idea: an object that does not merely occupy space, but carries meaning, transformation, and a story.
The recycled aluminum with which it was shaped has lived other lives before this one. It was collected, melted, and patiently crafted with intention until it found its new identity. Like everything we create, this piece is a reflection of our choices and our ability to give value to what others leave behind.
Designing ERGO has been a process of exploration and reflection. It is the result of a constant search for balance—between imperfection and essence, between material and emotion. Every curve, every texture, every detail is a dialogue between past and present, a paradox between what was and what now is."
